Ounce Works is a sole proprietorship operated by Jerry Kang in South Korea. This page covers this website. Data handled by the paid plugin add-on on behalf of a shop is covered separately by the data processing agreement.
What this site collects
If you type your address into the waitlist form, we store that address, the page you submitted it from, and the date. Nothing else. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session cookie and no third-party embed on this site. The only thing kept in your browser is a single preference for whether you chose the light or dark theme, and that never leaves your device.
Why we have it
To send you at most a handful of emails: when the free plugin is published, when the paid add-on opens, and occasionally when something changes that a subscriber would want to know. That is the entire purpose. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form.

That is the complete list. Your address is never sold, rented, traded, or used to build a profile, and it is not shared with anyone not named above.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until you ask for deletion, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and is closed — whichever comes first. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record rather than flagging it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to jerry@ounceworks.com and you will get an answer from a person, normally within one working day. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with how a request was handled, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes materially, subscribers are told by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
